Faisal Ahmad obtained his Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree in Electrical Engineering from State University of New York, Buffalo in 1994. In November 2006, he joined MIMOS BERHAD and quickly rose through the rank to his current role as Chief Executive Officer of MIMOS Technology Solutions Sdn. Bhd. (formerly known as Frontier Novatur Sdn. Bhd.), a wholly-owned subsidiary and commercial arm of MIMOS.
He led the commercialization team, which comprised personnel in various disciplines, since its establishment, before assuming the CEO position in February 2016.
Prior to MIMOS BERHAD, he spent more than 13 years in the telecommunication industry, working in various capacities at Motorola, Ericsson, Siemens and local Companies. He served several roles in engineering as well as commercial discipline, ranging from Product Management, Technical Consultant, Solution Consultant and Product Marketing.
Leading the commercialization activities of MIMOS’ subsidiary, Faisal has secured more than 100 ICT Solutions and High Impact Projects at National level valued around RM430 million, with mixtures of more than 100 different types of MIMOS technology platforms and IPs.

Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr. Ismail graduated with a Bachelor of Economics in Applied Economics from the University of Malaya in 1983 and obtained a Diploma in Public Management from the National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN) in 1986. He obtained a Master of Business Administration in Business Administration (Project Based) and a Doctor of Philosophy in Politics from the University of Hull, United Kingdom in 1996 and 2005 respectively.
Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Ismail has been in public service since 1983, attached to Ministry of Finance. He held various leadership roles in multiple ministries and retired in 2020 as Chief Secretary to the Government of Malaysia.

Dato’ Dr. Suhazimah earned Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, and Master of Science in Computer Science from Northrop University, California in 1984 and 1985 respectively. In 2007, Dato’ Dr. Suhazimah obtained her PhD in Information Security Management from University of Malaya.
Dato’ Dr Suhazimah retired after almost 35 years in public service on 1st Oct 2020, after holding the post of Deputy Director-General (ICT) which also carry the responsibility of the Government Chief Information Officer (GCIO) in the Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (MAMPU), Prime Minister’s Department, since August 2014.

Encik Mohd Rani Dali bin Samsudin completed his Bachelor of Business Administration and Masters of Business Administration in 1984 and 1986 respectively, from Western Illinois University, Illinois, USA.
He spent more than 30 years in banking industry, namely Maybank Investment Bank Berhad, Malaysia International Merchant Bank, and Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad.
He has participated and completed a vast array of financial related transactions across different product and service types including Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), Rights and Bonus issues, Derivatives, Loan Stocks, Book Buildings, Underwritings, Margin Financing, Portfolio Structuring, Placements, Mergers and Acquisitions mandates, Reverse Takeovers, Delisting and various other corporate exercises, involving corporates clients as well as institutional and retails clients.

Wan Zawawi Md Zin is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at MIMOS Technology Solutions, bringing over 28 years of diverse experience in the software industry. His career spans roles from Analyst Programmer, Technical Engineer, Developer, and Manager to Testing Manager, Project Manager, Solution Architect, and Senior Director. This extensive journey combines rich engineering and management expertise.
Wan Zawawi graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, majoring in Software Engineering, from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Johor. His professional journey began in a telecommunications company, working on billing systems. He then moved to a listed company to develop its billing system before joining Motorola Malaysia’s Global Software Group as a Testing Manager. There, he successfully established the Testing Lab in Malaysia and contributed significantly to achieving the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level 5 accreditation from Carnegie Mellon University in 2005.
In 2007, Wan Zawawi joined MIMOS, where he set up the Centre of Excellence for Measurement and Testing and the WIMAX Test Conformance Labs in 2009. He also launched the Big Data Analytics Lab under the Digital Government Lab, inaugurated by the Minister of MOSTI in April 2015. His blend of technical and management skills has led him to serve as Project Director for multiple significant projects. Currently, as COO, he oversees MIMOS Technology Solutions’ projects and operations, driving the company’s strategic initiatives and operational excellence.

Abdul Rashdee Abdul Kadir is a seasoned accounting professional with a strong background in corporate management. His journey in the financial sector began in 1991 with a Diploma in Accountancy from MARA Institute of Technology, followed by a Degree in Accountancy from De Montfort University, UK, and an ACCA qualification from Emile Woolf College, UK. Starting at a Big 5 audit firm, he gained solid audit, tax, and corporate recovery expertise.
In 1999, Abdul Rashdee joined MIMOS, a leading applied research and development institution in Malaysia. He has made substantial contributions to the organisation, steadily progressing through different roles. Throughout his tenure, Abdul Rashdee has excelled in finance, strategic management, and corporate services.
Abdul Rashdee currently serves as the Head of the Governance Sector, where he supervises essential functions including Finance, Shared Services, Procurement, Human Capital, Corporate Communications, Facilities, IT Operations, Project Management Office, Operations and Method, and Business Continuity Management.
In addition to his role as sector head, Abdul Rashdee also holds the crucial role of Chief Risk Officer. He serves as the Chairman of the MIMOS Procurement Planning Committee, playing a vital part in steering strategic decisions and enhancing procurement excellence within the organisation.
Abdul Rashdee Abdul Kadir’s professional journey exemplifies a commitment to continuous learning, strategic leadership, and a holistic approach to corporate governance. His expertise and leadership have been instrumental in shaping MIMOS into a dynamic and forward-thinking institution in the field of research and development.

Dr Saat Shukri Embong obtained his first degree in Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hartford, Hartford, CT, USA, in 1994 and he was awarded a Master of Engineering in Mechatronics in 1995. He obtained his PhD in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2015.
Dr Saat Shukri spearheaded his career when he joined Motorola Inc in 1995 and moved on to ON Semiconductor Inc in 1998 as the New Product Introduction Program Manager. His vast working experience included his career journey with STATSChipPAC Inc, Infineon Technologies AG, Texas Instrument Inc, and Freescale Semiconductor Inc from 2002 until 2008. In 2009, he joined the Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT) as Head of Technology for Technology Evaluation and Transfer activities under the Technology Nurturing division. A year later in 2010, he was seconded to the Prime Minister’s Office as the Operation Director, Office of Science Advisor to the Malaysia Prime Minister.
He later joined MIMOS Berhad in 2010 as the Director of Research and led various collaboration programmes with local and international industries, universities and research institutions. In 2013, he led the Technology and Product Portfolio Development and Management Group where he supervised various aspects of strategic activities such as providing market intelligence, identifying technologies and products to be developed by the R&D Group as well as bringing those outputs to market. In 2016, he was tasked to lead MIMOS Strategy Office, providing the overall strategies for the company’s way forward related to Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) in line with the national strategy to position Malaysia in the top 20 countries by 2050.
In 2023, Dr Saat Shukri was appointed as Head of the Technology Venture Sector and responsible for collaboration and partnership, commercialisation and talent development efforts and initiatives. Throughout his tremendous career, he has successfully developed various new technologies, products and solutions as well as secured various intellectual properties in the field which qualified him to be included in the 16th Edition MARQUIS’ Who’s Who In The World.
